We chose to arrange our wedding with Stella Virdi from Zaffron Weddings in Cyprus, after our first call, where we were put straight at ease with Stella’s extensive knowledge of venues, good relationships with suppliers and her very obvious enthusiasm for organising weddings. Even though we only had 5 months to arrange our wedding and struggled to make decisions at certain points, nothing was ever a problem and it was so reassuring to know that Stella was always close at hand to give us impartial advice. We chose to get married at the Ayii Anargyri resort which was stunning, Stella drove us round a few days before to see the venues, suppliers and go to the town hall which we really appreciated and was so much easier then trying to do it ourselves. On the day, I felt very relaxed knowing Stella was around and with help from Sherie it all turned our better than we could have hoped for, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and I really didn’t want it to end – thank you so much!!
Maria who did our flowers and decorations did an amazing job, I was so happy with everything and that was after only meeting with her for 20 minutes a few days before the wedding, she understood exactly the style I was after even decorating everywhere exactly as I had it in my mind, I was so sad to have to leave our flowers behind!
Nik the photographer was brilliant, very funny and put everyone at ease, all our guests commented on how good he was and our photos are stunning!
We had Greek dancers in the evening as a surprise for our guests who were good fun and had everyone up dancing and we had Rhian as our DJ who was amazing! we were initially unsure if a DJ would work with only 20 of us, but I’m so glad we did have Rhian, the music was exactly what we’d asked for and Rhian even sang a few songs whilst we ate which was an added bonus, she was a lot of fun and everyone was up dancing right to the end of the night! I wish I could have videoed it all!!
My hair & make up was done by Maria, she was so quick and I was really happy with how it all turned out even though I’d not had any trials and just shown some photos to Maria on the day!
Our cake was by Love Island Cakes, it looked stunning and tasted just as good, I just wish I could have eaten more of it!!
All the staff at the Ayii Anargyri were so lovely and helpful to us, we were made to feel really special and I couldn’t have hoped for a better venue, I don’t think the photos even do it full justice, whenever I smell lavender now it makes me smile and we can’t wait to go back to stay again!
